12+ 4 Ohm Dvc Wiring. Ive burnt one coil out on a dvc sub and have wired down to 1 coil and ran at 1/2 the power to have some bass till i had enough funds to replace or buy new sub/subs. So in your situation you cannont run 1 ohm.

If Each Sub Gives You A 2 Ohm Load And You Are Wiring Them Together You Can Get Either A 1 Or 4 Ohm Final Load.
Upgrade from 1 to 2 15 4 ohm dvc sub wiring and right ohm load. I've done single, dual, and 4 subs before. As a specific example, one such wiring diagram shows how to hook up two 2ohm dvc speakers for a 2ohm load (wiring option 2) and shows the wires coming from one.

I've had an alpine type r 12 dvc 4 ohm subwoofer for about a year now, but just recently did i take it. ^^^^^ what choices do i have if i want to wire 4 dvc 4 ohm subwoofers up to one amp?
