I understand that when using the wired ring doorbell, the chime is bypassed, so it will be necessary for me to install a ring chime or echo device to generate the doorbell.
I want to install 3 video doorbell pros to an old nutone mechanical chime. The friedland d844 is in the compatible digital chimes list but i just can´t make it work. I am trying to install ring wired doorbell 2nd gen to my existing doorbell wiring.

The photo below is the old wiring and the chime can support up to 4 doors. Attached is a wiring picture of ring doorbell 3 plus attached to honeywell sw915s wired doorbell. I wanted to perform a hard wire installation of my ring video doorbell to replace a defective front door doorbell/intercom.

That should work also with ring 2. Installing new ring transformer to use with new pro 2 doorbell at front door and moving original pro doorbell to back door. The wiring diagram customer service referred to me.
